Fu Yuan Yu 071 3D Model

This is a 3D model of Fu Yuan Yu 071, one of the famous fishing vessels from the large Chinese fleet involved in illegal fishing around the world. It gained international attention in 2017 when it was intercepted by the Argentine Coast Guard for engaging in illegal fishing activities in the Argentine Exclusive Economic Zone. The vessel was found to be carrying a large quantity of illegally harvested fish, including endangered species. This incident highlighted the importance of combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing practices and enforcing maritime regulations to protect marine ecosystems and promote sustainable fishing practices.
